These terms apply to every cleaning and removals service booked with Clickcleanit Ltd, whether you book online, by phone or by email. Please read them before you book. By confirming a booking you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Clickcleanit Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11015317). Our registered office is 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. You can contact us on 0203 488 8072 or at admin@clickcleanit.com.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Clickcleanit Ltd. “You” means the person or business making the booking.
2. Your booking
- A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us by email.
- Our prices are based on the property details you give us (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and any extras). If the property is materially larger, or in a materially worse condition than described, we will tell you before we start and agree any extra charge with you. If you do not agree, you may cancel and we will refund any amount paid for work not carried out.
- Please tell us at the time of booking about anything that affects the job, such as parking restrictions, access arrangements, pets or items that need special care.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices shown on our website include VAT. There are no hidden charges.
- The following surcharges apply where relevant and are shown before you pay: £50 for bookings on a Sunday or bank holiday, and £35 for properties outside London postcode areas N, NW, SE, SW, E, W, EC and WC (end of tenancy, deep cleaning and carpet cleaning only).
- Online bookings are paid in full at the time of booking by debit or credit card through our secure payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Bookings made by phone or email are paid by card or bank transfer against our invoice, before the service date unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Business customers on account must pay invoices within the terms stated on the invoice.
4. What we provide and what we need from you
- We bring our own professional equipment and cleaning products for all one-off services, including end of tenancy, deep, spring, carpet, after party, festive and commercial cleans.
- You must give us safe access to the property at the agreed time, with working electricity and hot water. Without these we may not be able to complete the job.
- Please clear personal belongings, rubbish and food from cupboards, drawers and surfaces before we arrive. Emptying and sorting belongings is housekeeping rather than cleaning and is not included.
- We clean areas that can be reached safely from the floor or a standard step ladder. We do not clean ceilings, or work at height beyond this, unless agreed in advance.
- Heavily carbonised ovens and appliances are cleaned thoroughly using professional products, but some long-standing burnt-on deposits cannot be fully removed. Our team will point these out on the day.
- We may decline or pause work in a property we reasonably believe is unsafe for our team, for example because of hazardous waste, pests or structural risk. We will contact you straight away to agree next steps.
5. Keys
- Key collection and return is free for estate agents and letting agents.
- For other customers, key collection from an address outside the postcode area of the property may carry a fee, which we will confirm before booking.
- Keys must open the property without special effort. If we lose keys entrusted to us, we will pay reasonable replacement and locksmith costs.
6. Our 7-day guarantee
- If you are not happy with any part of the clean, tell us within 7 days of the service date and we will come back and re-clean the affected areas free of charge.
- For end of tenancy cleans, this includes cleaning issues raised by your landlord or agent within 7 days, provided the property has not been reoccupied or used since our visit.
- Please send photos of the issue with your report so we can arrange the re-clean quickly. We will agree a return visit with you as soon as practical.
- The guarantee covers the cleaning we carried out. It does not cover new marks or damage arising after our visit, permanent stains, wear and tear, or items that were outside the agreed scope.
7. Cancelling or changing your booking
- You can cancel or rearrange your booking free of charge. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice before the booked start time so we can reallocate your team.
- If our team cannot get in when they arrive (for example no access, no keys, or no water or power), please contact us to rearrange.
- If we need to cancel, we will tell you as early as possible and offer another date or a full refund.
8. Your statutory right to cancel (consumers)
- If you are a consumer and booked online, by phone or by email, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the booking date without giving a reason.
- If you ask us to carry out the service within those 14 days, you agree that if you then cancel within the 14-day period you will pay for any part of the service already provided. Once the service has been fully completed, the right to cancel no longer applies.
- To cancel, contact us on 0203 488 8072 or at admin@clickcleanit.com. We will refund any amount due within 14 days, to the original payment method.
9. Damage and claims
- Our team take care with your property. Clickcleanit Ltd holds public liability insurance.
- If anything is damaged during our visit, please report it to us within 7 days of the service date, with photos. Prompt reporting helps us resolve claims quickly.
- Where we are responsible for damage, we will arrange a repair or, if repair is not possible, pay the reasonable current value of the item.
- Please remove or secure cash, jewellery, valuables, fragile items and items of sentimental value before we arrive.
- We are not responsible for existing damage, wear and tear that becomes more visible once dirt is removed, or damage caused by faulty fittings or items that were already unsafe.
10. Our responsibility to you
- We carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. If we do not, you are entitled to ask us to put it right or, where that is not possible, to a fair price reduction.
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
- For business customers, our total liability in connection with any booking is limited to the price of that booking, except for the matters in clause 10.3.
11. Our team
We expect our team to be treated with courtesy. We may end a visit if a member of our team is put at risk or treated abusively.
12. Complaints
If something is not right, please contact us on 0203 488 8072 or at admin@clickcleanit.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 7 working days.
13. Your information
We use the details you give us only to arrange and carry out your booking, take payment and contact you about your service. We handle personal data in line with UK data protection law and do not sell it to anyone.
